My practice is about - and inspired by - the sublime, which I see as the overwhelming quality of nature and our relation to it. Working on this subject in the urban landscape of London, I realized how construction materials are probably the most significant disconnection between nature and me. Furthermore, living at this time of climate emergency, I feel an urgency to create art consistent with my concerns for the future of the planet. I want to use construction site material materials to make art about nature; I want to transform discarded building materials into art that questions the problems of our economy in relation to the environment.

Currently showing at Casal Solleric, Palma de Majorca for Art Jove 2020.
